Community Update
Welcome to Term 3. We trust that you had the opportunity to enjoy some family time over the holiday period to rest and renew.
We recognise the vital relationship between home and school and provide opportunities for parents to actively engage with the School. Volunteering is a wonderful opportunity to meet other Redlands parents and to be involved with the School. Volunteer opportunities include classroom support, event support, Uniform Shop assistance, RPFA involvement or joining one of the Friends of Groups that support our many and varied Cocurricular activities. All of these important groups come together as passionate and dedicated volunteers to selflessly support and connect our School and the wider Redlands community. To explore how you might contribute within these groups please visit the RPFA page of Note Day.
Our Conditions of Enrolment seek to provide a firm foundation for an ongoing and harmonious relationship between the School and the family of each student. As recently communicated by our Principal, we have undertaken the first significant update of our Conditions of Enrolment since 2017 in alignment with our Strategic Plan, Mission, Vision and Values while outlining the School’s expectations to which all parties to the enrolment contract agree when accepting a place at Redlands. The updated Conditions of Enrolment can be found on Pulse, under School Policies and Procedures within the Key Information section.
Each year the graduating class at Redlands celebrate and acknowledge their Redlands education with a Legacy Gift. The Legacy Gift provides the cohort with a unique opportunity to thank the School for its support, encouragement and the opportunities offered while studying at Redlands. To read more on this important and noble cause, along with information on our Gala Ball check out the Foundation section of today’s Note Day.
The start of a new semester is a great time to ensure that we have all the necessary information to support and care for your children, so please confirm that your contact details, emergency contacts and child’s medical information is all up to date through Pulse.
My thanks to the Redlands Parent and Friends Association Executive Team for their assistance in delivering our recent Second Hand Uniform Sale. This initiative enables us to recycle uniforms back into the community whilst raising valuable funds for our means-tested Scholarship Fund.
Thank you for your continued guidance and support and as ever, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community Engagement team, or to me directly, should you have any feedback, suggestions or questions.
