Community Update

Community Update

It was lovely to welcome our community back on to the campus at Twilight in the Garden, held under clear blue skies and sunshine last Friday evening.  We understand that we are not just a school, we are a community and we recognise the important sense of place that Redlands represents. My thanks to the extraordinary efforts of the event organising committee and our operations team for delivering a such a wonderful event. We look forward to welcoming more of our community onsite as the year unfolds.

Speaking of which …

There has been a great deal of excitement as the Autumn Fair banners went up around the School this week. This highly anticipated and much loved community event will take place on Saturday, 18 March on our Senior Campus and is a day centred around food, fun and entertainment, showcasing the community’s diversity and talent.  Thank you to our dedicated and passionate volunteers who continue to put their hand up in support of the Autumn Fair. Tickets are now on sale and wristbands and coupons can be pre-purchased here to receive a special discount. Further details on the Autumn Fair can be found in the RPFA section of Note Day, along with information on the wide range of other parent and carer events that connect our community.

It was a pleasure to attend the first meetings of our Junior and Secondary School Parent Contact Groups (PCG) this year, where I met Class and Year Group Parents and shared the activities and projects currently underway in Community Engagement. Our PCGs continue to explore ways to keep our community connected, included and supported within the many and varied aspects of school life.  If you are looking to connect with our community for support then please reach out to the passionate and diverse experience of our Class and Year Group Parents, the RPFA and Friends of Groups that support Redlands families.

I remain grateful for the continued guidance and support our community provides and, as ever, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community Engagement team should you have any feedback, suggestions or questions.

Kindest regards
