Community Update
It has been lovely to see and hear how our community has been connecting through the second term of school. A big thank you to the Redlands Parents and Friends Association (RPFA) and all of our Parent Contact Groups (PCGs) who continue to keep our community connected, included and supported within the many and varied aspects of school life.
At the heart of Redlands Strategic Plan is a continued commitment to the development of Teaching and Learning spaces, along with sporting and cocurricular facilities for students and staff now and into the future. This commitment will be delivered through the development of a new Three Campus Master Plan (Senior, Junior and High Country Campuses), shaped through a comprehensive Community Consultation process that includes our staff, parents and carers, students and other key stakeholders.
Our Community Consultation commenced this term with feedback provided by our staff and students. In early Term 3, this process continues as we seek the opinions and insight of our parents and carers through a survey and workshop as follows:
- All parents and carers will be invited to complete an online Master Plan Survey
- The Workshop will include a broad representation of the Redlands parent and carer community
We are excited about the journey our School will take in the development of a new Master Plan, and we look forward to working with Redlands parents and carers in its development.
It is always a pleasure to hear what our alumni community have been up to and I was especially interested to read of Redlander Rob Sheppard’s (2012) journey through sports administration given my own corporate experience in this area. Rob’s story, along with an update from the Foundation team, can be enjoyed here.
A reminder to Save the Date – the Redlands Spring Fair is back and will take place on Saturday, 3 September. We will share further details on this much loved Redlands community event early next term.
Thank you for your continued guidance and support this term and as ever, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community Engagement team should you have any feedback, suggestions or questions.
The Community Engagement team wish you all a happy, healthy and peaceful mid-year break with your family.
