Community Update
It was a genuine pleasure to attend the Preparatory School Parent Contact Group Meeting this week. I was delighted to discuss the many exciting projects and initiatives that the School has planned and was grateful for the passionate and constructive community feedback shared. All of our Parent Contact Groups (PCGs) continue to keep our community connected, included and supported within the many and varied aspects of school life. We are excited to be welcoming more of our community groups onto our School grounds as the year unfolds. Tomorrow we welcome prospective parents and carers on our Senior Campus as we host our first Open Morning in a number of years. This event provides an opportunity for families considering a Redlands education to hear from our students and School leadership. At the end of last week, we welcomed back to campus alumni cohorts from 2010, 2011 and 2016.
Our alumni of Redlanders can be found locally and globally. We continue to ensure the important connections with our community are nurtured and developed through Redlands dedicated alumni engagement program that includes interstate and international reunions and networking opportunities. We value greatly the relationships we build and maintain with our alumni and we are excited by the opportunities and initiatives they help support in preparing our current students for life beyond the school gates. A reminder to save the date – Spring Fair is back and will take place on Saturday, 3 September. We will share further details on this much loved Redlands community event early next Term.
