Community Update

Community Update

We look forward to welcoming parents and carers tomorrow evening to our annual Twilight in the Garden event. Twilight in the Garden provides a wonderful opportunity for all families to connect with our School community on the Fahl Garden on our Senior Campus … as the weather looks to be holding for us. Tickets are still available here.

It was a pleasure to attend the first meeting of the Junior School (3-6) Parent Contact Group this week.  Mr Corcoran, Mr Quach and Ms Moore provided updates on the start to the year and community activities and projects were shared and discussed by our RPFA. There are plenty of community, class and year group events planned for this Term, all listed in the RPFA section of today’s Note Day.

We are pleased to announce that our new Feedback and Assessment Tool is now live for Secondary School parents and carers in Pulse.  This unique tool was developed by Redlands in response to feedback from our community and replaces iLearn as the ‘one stop shop’ for all feedback and assessment information – reports, upcoming assessments and results, coaching conversations and more. This tool will continue to be enhanced as the year unfolds and a Junior School version is also in development. Please click here to read more on this terrific and easy to use tool in Ms Van de Peer’s Note Day article.

A reminder to book your tickets for our International Women’s Day (IWD) breakfast where Julie Inman – Grant, Australia’s eSafety Commissioner, will lead a vital discussion on the advancement of gender equality, empowerment and safety in an increasingly digital world. Revenue generated from this very special event will be donated to Mary’s House Services who provide essential accommodation for women and their children fleeing domestic and family violence or abuse.  Tickets for this not to missed event can be purchased here.

I remain grateful for the continued guidance and support our community provides and, as ever, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly or the wider Community Engagement team should you have any feedback, suggestions or questions.
