Community Update
Thank you to the many volunteer parents, carers and friends of Redlands who selflessly support our School and the wider Redlands community. Your generous contribution and efforts in keeping our community connected, included and informed this term are appreciated and valued. Our community and the School will be celebrated at our Festival of Redlands event to be held in early Term 4 this year. Set in the grounds of the Junior School, this event will shine a light on 140 years of Redlands and include games, sports, arts, drama, music, and refreshments and will also showcase our High Country Campus.
Our postcard series of Redlanders continues this week with Hannah Tobin’s (RL 2021) journey from Redlands to London, via Melbourne. We greatly value the relationships we have with our Alumni and our aim is to support a lifelong connection to the School and our wider community. This connection more often than not provides guidance and support, or even just a friendly face in Hannah’s case, as our alumni unite and bond in places near and far. To read Hannah’s postcard along with an update on our upcoming Giving Day, please visit the Foundation section.
Thank you for the encouraging feedback on the launch of our Master Plan this week. Our Master Plan was developed following significant consultation and engagement across our community, to deliver a shared future vision for a cohesive journey across our three campuses. With our students’ wellbeing at the heart of a holistic Redlands education, our 20-year Master Plan will provide the flexibility to nurture their growth and potential in a rapidly evolving world, allowing their lights to shine brightly.
Building upon our rich 140-year history as innovators and agile movers with the changing educational landscape, the Redlands Master Plan creates the physical spaces necessary for the future of our great School. We are excited to embark on this transformative journey and look forward to sharing further updates as we evolve and realise this visionary plan.
The Community Engagement team wish you all a happy, healthy and peaceful mid-year break with your family, and as ever, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community Engagement team should you have any feedback, suggestions or questions.
