Community Update
With the end of Term 2 in sight, it has been lovely to see and hear how our community has been connecting through the first semester of school. The Redlands Parents and Friends Association (RPFA), Parent Contact Groups (PCGs) and Friends of Groups (FoGs) remain actively engaged in bringing our various groups together both socially and operationally right up to the mid-year break. It’s a joy to celebrate the achievements and success of our Redlanders, and this week we feature Tate Boswarva (RL 2022) who has been named a Finalist in the 2024 in the Northern Beaches Environmental Art and Design Prize for their three piece wearable artwork “Occyan Morphosis”. Our alumni can be found locally and globally and we continue to ensure the connections with this important part of our community are nurtured and developed through Redlands alumni engagement program. My thanks to those who donated uniforms, and to the ever active and passionate RPFA for their collective effort in running the Second Hand Uniform Sale this week. This initiative enables us to recycle pre-loved uniforms back into the community whilst raising valuable funds for our means-tested Scholarship Fund. Our Uniform Shop remains fully stocked for those looking to make the transition to new trans-seasonal uniform from Term 3.
A reminder that tickets are now available for our much loved Gala Arts event. This annual showcase of Redlands best performing artists features 24 finalists competing in categories that include Visual Arts, Vocal, Instrumental, Dance and Theatre. This is a must see community event hosted at The Concourse in Chatswood, with tickets available through the link below.
