Community Update

Our motto, ‘Let your light shine’, is a phrase taken from The Sermon on the Mount, ‘Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven’ (Matthew 5:16 NIV). At Redlands we aim to provide extensive opportunities to enable each student’s light to shine and to foster the light in those around them, and those who need support.

We are fortunate to have an altruistic community.  Parents and friends of the School proudly support the enrichment of our students’ lives in many ways, through regular donations and by giving one of the most special gifts of all – their time.

Redlands, like most independent schools, has a Foundation that supports the School’s strategic and philanthropic programs. The Foundation Advisory Committee (FAC) provides the School with specialist counsel in support of the short and long-term objectives of these important programs. The FAC’s experienced stewardship of our philanthropic program enables Redlands to continue to invest in the growth and advancement of the School.

Like the FAC, our Parent Contact Groups, Friends of Groups, Alumni Association and the RPFA all come together as passionate and dedicated volunteers to selflessly support our School and the wider Redlands community.

‘Let your light shine’ is an ethos we carry in all our endeavours and I remain grateful for the guidance and support that our volunteer community so generously continue to provide. We are an altruistic community.
