Lunchtime Gardening on the Rooftop

We are excited to invite your child to join us every Monday and Thursday during lunchtime at the Learning Hub Rooftop Garden Club.

This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to help grow and harvest fresh produce for our canteen. They can enjoy delicious snacks straight from the garden while getting involved in a variety of activities, including:

  • Choosing what to plant
  • Planting and digging
  • Watering and pruning
  • Mulching and building plant supports
  • Designing different garden sections

No matter their level of gardening experience, everyone is welcome! Whether your child is new to gardening or has a seasoned green thumb, their participation will help make our school greener and more sustainable.

Encourage your child to come along and be part of this community effort to enhance our school’s environment. We look forward to their involvement! Any student interested is to meet at the rooftop with lunch for the start of lunchtime.

Booked Solid: Redlands’ New Student Book Club is a ‘Novel’ Idea!

We are excited to announce the launch of the Redlands Book Club! Our enthusiastic student readers will meet every Tuesday at lunchtime in the Roseby Library. Each month will culminate in a themed discussion on the last Tuesday. Our inaugural theme is fantasy—fantastic, isn’t it?

On the remaining Tuesdays, students will engage in various ‘novel’ activities, including relaxed reading sessions, planning future reading initiatives, and lively discussions about all things books. We aim to cultivate a vibrant reading culture at Redlands.

We look forward to your child joining us in this ‘lit-erary’ adventure!

Warm regards,

The Redlands Student Book Club Team
