Chaplains

Faith at Redlands has provided an essential pillar for our foundation and as we continue to educate and nurture outstanding individuals who ‘shine out’ our key values such as compassion, responsibility and moral courage in our students. This faith foundation not only supports academic excellence but also fosters a sense of community and purpose. Through faith, our students learn to navigate life’s challenges with grace and empathy, preparing them to make meaningful contributions to the world.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” — Matthew 7:24
In Chapels across the school this term we have explored the theme of ‘Faith’ and created many opportunities for students to learn about the significance of Jesus Christ as the heart of faith and service. Our students participate and experience a wide range of activities in Chapel from art projects, leading chapel as a class, singing, discussions to prayerful contemplation.
Year 9 students were immersed in Judaism on their recent excursion to the Jewish Museum and Great Synagogue and extended their appreciation of faith expression.
Prep parents are invited to Chapel this coming week to join us and see what Chapel is like for our young learners.
Another important dimension of our community expression of faith is our termly Parent Prayer Meetings. We extend a warm invitation to all to join together with the Principal, Chaplains and other parents and carers on Tuesday 18 June from 5.30-6.30pm in the Junior School Arnold Library for a brief time of thanksgiving and prayer for our School.
