Giving and End of Term Christmas Events

Across the Junior Campus at Redlands we have a wonderful opportunity to contemplate and put into action our school values by generously giving to those in need in the wider Sydney Community. In Chapel and Christian Studies this term students have been thinking about how they can use their time, words, energy and ideas to gift their friends, family and community and beyond with positive actions and attitudes; considering how we can embody our school motto to support and encourage others.

Christmas Cards

Some Redlands families have generously organised a concert at Mosman Manor Retirement Village. Our Year 1 and 2 students this year have joined in the fun by making beautiful Christmas Cards and paper chains to share with the residents. The messages are heartfelt and full of kindness. A special thankyou to the parent helpers who came and helped the children have such fun creating their gifts.

There will be other opportunities K-6 on our Wellbeing Days to create cards to encourage our older community members at our local aged care communities.
