Virtual University Visits at Redlands Term 2

Sydney University, University of Wollongong, Bond University (QLD), University of Notre Dame and University of Melbourne will all be presenting virtually during Tutor Time to interested students next term. Dates and details are on the Your Future iLearn page.

Holiday Information Sessions and USA Applications Update

These webinars will be offered by Education USA on Thursday 23 April from either 1.00-1.40pm (register here) and from 2.00-2.40pm (register here). It is recommended that students listen to both.

Many USA universities are now advising they are ‘test optional’ for the 2020-21 application cycle, so please do not worry if you are not able to sit the SAT/ACT test this year.

Careers in Games, Animation and Visual FX for Film: Holiday Presentations

AIE (Academy of Interactive Entertainment) are offering two online opportunities: a careers discussion for Yrs 10-12 students with a panel of industry professionals at 4.00pm on Thursday 16 April, register here or join an online course available for students aged 12 years and older, in character design and animation, game development or 3D animation, register here. 

JSchool Online Micro Journalism Course

Jschool’s Newswriting Basics is a newly-developed micro unit giving senior students a taste of journalism writing. The Newswriting Basics course is taught online over five weeks by experienced journalists.
