City of Sydney Youth Innovation Challenge
The City of Sydney Youth Innovation Challenge, delivered by Practera, is open to 1000 students across NSW. The aim of the program will see students delivering a high potential business, start-up or social good innovation idea which creates a positive impact for the City of Sydney. The program will run from 31 May across three phases, with the top teams proceeding to the Phase 3 final pitch event to judges from the City of Sydney in August. There will be prizes for the most promising concept from Phase 1; and for the team that is selected to have the best concept at the final pitch event. Students aged 15 years and over can apply, with expressions of interest due by 7 May via the link on your Pastoral Care page. Cost is $50.
UTS Live Webinars on Engineering and IT
These will be held in late April/early May and cover all the specialisations that you can study under each discipline. Great opportunity for all interested students to learn more about these fields of study. Most webinars begin at 5.30pm. Register here.
UNSW Experience Days for Yr 12 Students
Yr 12 students can experience first-hand life as a university student with workshops, interactive panels and discussions with academics in the following areas: Arts, Design, Engineering, Science, Law and Business. These are taking place in the Easter holidays, register here.
ANU Admissions Webinars
ANU offers a direct application process which is currently open for Yr 12 students and closes on 24 May. These webinars will provide information to all prospective students to assist with their applications, covering timelines, offers, preferences and cocurricular requirements.
