Asian Grand Prix International Competition

Congratulations to students Dante Minassian (Yr 6) and Angus McLachlan (Yr 9) for their outstanding results in the recent Asian Grand Prix International Ballet Competition, Australian Regional Competition. Dante was awarded a Gold Medal, while Angus received a Silver Medal. Outstanding results for both students.

Both dancers will now progress to the International finals in December.

End of Year Concert

We look forward to filming our End of Year Concert, Dance on Film. Filming will take place this Saturday 21 November – Tuesday 24 November. Please see Redlands Pulse for further details. 

Week 6 Saturday Classes 

Classes will run as normal on Saturday 21 November, apart from the following Senior Jazz classes :

Week 7 – Last Classes for Term 4

All Term 4 classes end this week. Please note there are NO after school classes on Monday 23 November due to EOY Concert filming. 

Enrolments for 2021

If your child is not a current student of the Ballet and Dance Academy, please view our Semester 1, 2021 timetables on Redlands Pulse.

Enrolling is easy. Simply email your class preferences to dance@redlands.nsw.edu.au with the following information in the subject line:

2021 Enrolment | <student name>

If your child is already enrolled in a Ballet and Dance Academy class/classes for 2020 and you have not already contacted the Ballet and Dance Academy to change your class/classes, they have now rolled over for Semester 1, 2021. For further details on Enrolments please read the relevant document on Redlands Pulse.

Classes for 2021

Our Semester 1 Dance program will start week commencing Monday 1 February 2021. Further details to follow and will also be available on Redlands Pulse.  

Lost Property

We currently have a vast amount of items in the Lost Property cupboard situated in the hallway of Parkes Hall. Could all students kindly check the Lost Property before the end of term. Please note that unclaimed items will be removed and taken to the Junior Campus Lost Property at the end of Term 4.

International Summer School (ISS)

ISS will return to The McDonald College from 11-15 January 2021. Suitable for ages 7-20, ISS is a dance program designed for all skill levels ranging from recreational to the pre-professional dancer. For more details please click here.
