Important Dates

Week 9 Saturday 27 June: all classes continue, last day of Term 2
Monday 29 June to Friday 3 July: Holiday workshops and classes
Tuesday 21 July: all classes begin, first day of Term 3

Face to Face Classes in Term 3

We are planning for all Prep, Junior and Senior Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Tap classes to return to face to face classes from Week 1 Term 3.

Ballet and Dance Academy Extra Holiday Classes and Senior Jazz Workshops

Extra Senior and Junior Ballet, Jazz and Tap classes will be held in Week 1 in the upcoming school holidays, Monday 29 June-Friday 3 July inclusive. All parents will receive notification of their child’s extra holiday classes via email. The classes are complimentary and not obligatory. Please find the holiday class and workshop timetables here.

Graded and Vocational RAD Ballet Examinations

We are currently planning to enter candidates to Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Examinations, which we hope to hold at Redlands in late August, early September. Over 100 students will be entered at both the Graded and Vocational levels. Further information to follow.

Staff Changes

Farewell to Ballet and Dance Academy Administrator, Eva Bishop. We wish Eva all the very best in the next chapter of her career and life and thank her for her personal contributions and continued efforts in improving the Academy.

This term, we also farewell our long time and much loved Jazz teacher and chorographer, Ms Shannon Clark. This week Shannon was presented with several large cards from Redlands students, together with a spectacular bouquet of flowers as a token of thanks from the FOBD. We wish Shannon all the very best in her future endeavors.
