End of Year Ballet and Dance Concert

The End of Year Concert is on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 November at 6.30pm. Please could all parents provide their permission for this event on Redlands Pulse to ensure your child can participate. 

Could all parents of Senior students please ask their children to read the Parent letter. There is useful information in regards to their whereabouts during this extremely busy period.

Student Achievements

We would like to congratulate all our Prep and Junior Ballet students on their year of learning, hard work and highly successful participation of the RAD exams last week. We received lots of very positive feedback from parents regarding how well prepared the students were, how wonderful they looked and how supportive and caring our staff are. The students looked really beautiful, confident and calm. We would like to thank our Ballet teachers for all the hard work put into training and preparing the students for these exams, as it takes months of classes and a lot of dedication to get the students to this point. It is a massive and coordinated effort on all fronts from all staff as well as our fantastic parent volunteers that allows such a smooth, successful and special event occur.

End of Year Ballet and Dance Concert – Volunteers

Our working bees has started. Do join us as per schedule below if you would like to share some time and contribute towards the concert. Our first week was very well attended, however we always need more people to help support our event.

Friday 2 November from 8.30am-2pm
Friday 9 November from 8.30am-2pm
Friday 16 November from 8.30am-2pm
Saturday 17 November from 8.30am-5.00pm – Hair 10.00-10.30am only; Make Up 10.30-11.00am only

We’ll meet in Parkes Hall. Saturdays in P1.2 and Fridays in the Ballet Studio. If you can volunteer and support our end of year Concert, please email the Ballet Office.

Ballet & Dance Awards Evening

Tickets are now on sale for our inaugural Redlands Ballet and Dance Awards Dinner at Manly Golf Club on Tuesday 27 November at 6.30pm to celebrate our students and the 20^th Anniversary of the Redlands Ballet and Dance Academy. This is proving to be a wonderful evening so don’t miss out as places are limited. Students and parents Yr 7-12 are invited to attend. See Ballet TV/Redlands Pulse for details.

Call for Raffle Prizes

If you are in a position to help the Friends of Ballet and Dance by donating a raffle prize for the Awards dinner, please contact Eva in the Ballet Office or just drop your donation into the office. All donations are kindly appreciated and acknowledgement will be made at the dinner.

Enrolment for 2019

Our enrolment email went out last week. Thank you to everyone who has already replied. A fantastic response rate! All parents (new and existing) should have received the email. If you have not yet responded, please do ASAP! Our Terms & Conditions and 2019 timetables are now on Redlands Pulse for Prep/Junior and Senior classes to help you enrol.
