End of Year Ballet and Dance Concert
The End of Year Concert is on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 November at 6.30pm.
***Tickets for this years’ concert will be released on 23 October at 9am**
Please note that the program this year is different for the Wednesday and Thursday concerts. Please see your parent letter, Redlands Pulse or Ballet TV for details.
Student Achievements
The academy continues to be so proud of our students! Angus McLachlan (Yr 7) has been accepted on a scholarship into the Bolshoi Ballet Academy summer school in the US. This is a terrific achievement.
We also received wonderful news that Tadgh Robinson (Yr 10) has been accepted into the Australian Ballet School in 2019. A wonderful start to what is surely to be a long and successful career for him.
We wish both our students the very best and congratulate them both on their dedication to Dance, taking them this far.
We would also like to congratulate all our 69 students who took their Junior RAD exams this week. Our external adjudicator spent three days with us at the Academy and all our students did a fantastic job. We would also like to thank all the teachers and parent volunteers that helped making the students look absolutely immaculate as they entered.
End of Year Ballet and Dance Concert – Volunteers
Our working bees start this Friday. Do join us as per schedule below if you would like to share some time and contribute towards the concert.

Saturday 17 November from 8.30am-5.00pm – Hair 10.00-10.30am only; Make Up 10.30-11.00am only
We’ll meet in Parkes Hall. Saturdays in P1.2 and Fridays in the Ballet Studio. If you can volunteer and support our end of year Concert, please email the Ballet Office.
Enrolments for 2019
Our enrolment email went out last week. Thank you to everyone who has already replied. Fantastic response rate! All parents (new and existing) should have received the email. We will need all responses by tomorrow. Our Terms & Conditions and 2019 timetables are now on Redlands Pulse for Prep/Junior and Senior classes to help you enrol. If you did not receive the enrolment email, please contact the Ballet Office on 9908 6461.
Awards Evening
Tickets are now on sale for our inaugural Redlands Ballet and Dance Awards Dinner to celebrate our students and our 20th Anniversary. Don’t miss out as places are limited for this annual event at Manly Golf Club on Tuesday 27 November at 6.30pm. Students and parents in Yrs 7-12 are invited to attend.
