Time is ticking and we are now in the full throws of performance season at the Academy. Please see below for details on our End of Year Performance (EoYP) Holiday Rehearsals.

Teachers are hard at work preparing your dances, and RDA staff and Friends of Dance are busily preparing costumes. A big thanks to all of you who attended the sewing bee this morning and for leaving laden with wings and leotards. Lots still to be done but we made a good start.

We are thrilled that the Celebration of 25 Years of Dance at Redlands was captured by Tagged Pictures and the video will be uploaded to the DANCE AWARDS PULSE page very soon. For those of you who didn’t attend, it is well worth the watch as it showcases our wonderful students, touches on the past and provides insight into the vision for the Academy moving forward.

We enjoyed the presence of our Year 12 Ballet graduates for the last time yesterday, where they took a final class with Ms Samantha and watched our Les Sylphides rehearsal with Ms Traynor. Wishing them the very best and we will miss them around the Academy.

EoYP Holiday Rehearsals | 4 – 6 October

Holiday Rehearsals will take place Wednesday 4 – Friday 6 October. Please see our HOLIDAY WORKSHOP PULSE page for dates/times, and a list of students involved on each day.

Important Dates

Redlands App 

The Redlands App allows you to see all activities, including all Academy dance classes, that your child is enrolled in. If you are not familiar with the Redlands App, please CLICK HERE for details on how to download and use.

ABSENT or AWAY FROM CLASS 

If your child is sick or will miss their dance class, then please complete our ABSENTEE FORM. 

Private Lessons: If your child cannot attend their scheduled private lesson, please contact their teacher direct to cancel. Please cc dance@redlands.nsw.edu.au and grevie@redlands.nsw.edu.au

Please note that where less than 24 hours’ notice is given, private lessons will be charged as received.
