Eisteddfods

The Academy would like to congratulate our Senior Performers, who were out in force at the weekend at the Sydney Eisteddfod in Chatswood. 

Our Senior Ballet Performers were Highly Commended in the 520 Contemporary & Classical (7-12).

Our Senior Contemporary Performers placed 1st in the 520 Contemporary & Classical (7-12).

Our Senior Jazz Performers 1 placed 1st in the 521 Jazz, Musical Theatre & Hip Hop (7-9).

Our Senior Jazz Performers 2 placed 3rd in the 517 Jazz, Musical Theatre & Hip Hop (7-12).

Save the Date | 25 Year Celebration of Dance at Redlands

We are thrilled to invite you to a very special evening as we celebrate 25 years of dance excellence at Redlands. Join us for a special Dinner and Dance event that promises to be an unforgettable night filled with laughter, joy and the artistry of dance.

Event Details

Date: Tuesday 5 September 

Time: 6.30-9.30pm 

Location: Norths Cammeray

Highlights of the Evening

Dinner and Dance: Enjoy your meal whilst being entertained with performances by our dance students across a range of styles.

Celebrating the past and looking to the future: reflecting on an incredible 25 years of the Academy at Redlands we will share our initiatives for the future. Harnessing the passion, dedication, and talent of our young people we are excited to embark on a new chapter of dance education and creativity.

Awards Ceremony: Recognising the outstanding achievements of our talented dancers from Year 7-11

And to say farewell to our wonderful Year 12 students.

Students

All senior dance students plus our Junior Jazz Performers and Junior Ballet Performers are expected to be a part of this event and there will be a cost of $50 per student to cover transport and food. 

Buses will be provided from school to the venue on 5 September.

Tickets

Information on how to buy your tickets will be available soon.

Rehearsal

There will be a final rehearsal on Saturday 2 September 3-6pm in studio P1.9. Further details to follow.

Class Watching

Parents/carers are invited to join us for Class Watching, which is an opportunity to come along to your child’s dance classes and watch them dance. Please check their timetable for class times, locations and studios.

Classes will be open for watching Saturday 17 June – Friday 23 June.

Class Dates

Semester 2 Dance Classes

Your child’s dance classes will automatically roll over from Semester 1 to Semester 2. If you are happy with your classes, then you do not need to do anything.

If you wish to enrol then please see our ENROLMENTS PULSE page.

If you wish to drop any class for Semester 2 then please complete our NOTICE OF CHANGE FORM. 

The deadline for dropping a Semester 2 class is FRIDAY 16 JUNE. After this date an administration fee will be applied for any withdrawals from dance. For further details please see our Terms & Conditions.

ABSENT or AWAY FROM CLASS 

If your child is sick or will miss their class then please complete our ABSENTEE FORM.

Gala Arts 

Congratulations to the successful finalists of Gala Arts. Students are working incredibly hard rehearsing their items ready for performance.
