Dance Week 1

The Ballet and Dance Academy is off to a great start!

Teachers have been thrilled by the energy and focus from every student in all classes and can’t wait to see everyone in the coming weeks arriving with the correct uniforms and hair tidy. We understand that Bloch has been a tad overwhelmed by the Redlands rush, but hopefully they will get your orders to you quickly.

The new timetable is filled to the brim with a wide variety of dance genres to enjoy. We are still tweaking room allocations and rolls so please check your Calendars on Pulse or Activities on the Redlands App and let us know if your classes are incorrect.

Please note that any changes to enrolments after 27 February will incur an administration fee (see our Terms and Conditions on the Ballet and Dance homepage)

Saturday Dance Classes

Saturday dance starts this Saturday, 11 February. We are really looking forward to seeing everyone.

A reminder that the Murdoch Street pedestrian gate is closed all day Saturday. Access to Parkes Hall for Academy Dance classes is via the gate off Allister Street, adjacent to Junior Reception.

Redlands App

The Redlands App allows you to see all activities, including Academy dance classes, that your child is enrolled in. If you are not familiar with the Redlands App please CLICK HERE for details on how to download and use.

Redlands Pulse – Calendar

In addition to the Redlands App, you can also view your child’s activities via Redlands Pulse by clicking on the calendar icon from the dashboard (see image below).

All Ballet & Dance activities are show in green on the calendar (see image below).  Clicking an entry will show more information.  Cancellations will be crossed out on the calendar.

Dance Uniforms

It was wonderful to see our students dressed in their brand-new dance uniforms this week. As always, we strongly encourage parents to name their dance uniforms, including, dance shoes and socks. This allows us to quickly return any items left in the dance studios. Please note any nameless dance items are put in the Lost Property cupboard located opposite P1.6 in the hallway, whilst school uniforms are taken to the school lost property areas.

Can’t Come to Class

If your child will be at school but cannot attend their dance classes, then please let us know by completing  THIS FORM

Please note that if your child is away from school for any reason, you only need to notify the school, who will then notify the Ballet and Dance office.
