Ballet and Dance
Our Final Bow for 2023
Merry Christmas to our Ballet and Dance Academy community! As we close the dance studio doors’ for the last time in 2023, we would like to thank and congratulate every one of our students for what has been a truly amazing year.
Students have had a lot of fun in our festive classes this week, dancing to Christmas music with Santa hats and reindeer antlers galore!!!!

Great fun was had by our Redlands House Senior & Transition students at their Mini End of Year Ballet Performance on Tuesday afternoon. They danced so well and made their teacher Ms. Maria so very proud. A special thank you to Year 5 students Molly Crompton and Sophia Moriarty for helping out and also our special guests, the Junior Ballet Performers, who performed the “8 Milkmaids Dance” from our Twelve Days of Christmas production.

We would like to thank you all for attending the Information night, we are grateful for your queries and are busy tweaking the schedule to ensure that it works well for as many as possible. Please keep an eye on Pulse over the next week or so to keep up to date with any additional information.

Yoga Mats – Please Collect Before the End of Term
We have lots of yoga mats in the hallway in Parkes Hall. Can students please claim their yoga mat before the end of term, as the storage areas need to be emptied ready for a thorough clean during the holiday period. Thank you for your help with this.
Friends of Ballet & Dance (FoBD)
A huge thank you to our amazing FoBD for their immeasurable contribution throughout the year.
It was great to catch up with Sue Banfield this week, to thank her for her time as Chair for Friends of Ballet. She has been incredible in this role and will be missed greatly. We also welcomed Virginia Clayton, who is taking over the role with Virginia Burmeister, and thank all the executives and volunteers for the help they have given us throughout the year.
