Year 8

This Week

Students brought the campus to life last Thursday with all the energy from the cohort as they saw each other again after several weeks of Remote Learning. Students were able to engage in a day with less screen time and more physical activity as they moved their way around campus. Photos today showcase a few students participating in Thursday Sport in the Undercroft.

This week in Pastoral Care students have been able to recognise our fantastic group of merit award recipients and pocket recipients for Summer Sport. Students have also been invited to participate in the many Careers Week opportunities from guest speakers and The Great Debate, to a Careers Quiz during Tutor Time. Finally, on Thursday, students spent the Tutor session writing Thank You letters to Australia Post. Our very own Yr 8 student Marcus Cooper-Hor prepared and presented an informative talk on how many people utilise services provided by Australia Post, their hours of work and how they have been impacted during COVID-19.

Upcoming Events

  • School photographs will be delivered to all students by the end of Week 4. If your child does not have their photographs or if they want to order more, please have them come to the Pastoral Office.
  • Wednesday 5 August is Yr 8 Parent Teacher Evening. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet all of your child’s teachers and to hear how your child is going in each subject.
