Gap Year Office Position at Wentworth Chambers

Any Yr 12 student thinking of a gap year and interested in finding out about what a legal career entails, here is the perfect opportunity for you! A barrister’s chambers in the Sydney CBD is looking for a recent school leaver showing genuine interest in their work, initiative and able to work to deadlines. Start date is 10 February 2020. University Of Sydney Computer Science Fellowship Program

This is open to Yrs 9-12 students and is free. Students study a university course Introduction to Programming online then spend time on campus in the holidays. Students can get credit for this course if they then go on to study at Sydney University. A great opportunity to experience this study area before finalising decisions at the end of school.

Students need to apply with a reference which they must speak with Ms Salier about asap. Deadline for applications is 13 January 2020.

Summer High School Language Enrichment Program

These enrichment courses are held at the University of Queensland for Yrs 11 and 12 students interested in practicing language skills and increasing fluency over the summer. Chinese, French, German, Japanese and Spanish are offered. Enrol by Monday 16 December for the course which is from 13-17 January 2020. Cost is $295. Enrol here.
