Musical 2020

Audition commence this week with time slots are posted here and on the Drama noticeboard. All audition preparation material for Grease is available here. The compulsory Dance Workshop is on Friday 1 November from 3.30-5.30pm.

Yr 8 Performance – Australian Landscapes

Congratulations to all our Yr 8 Drama students who presented a variety of scenes from Australian playwrights interpreting some of the great pieces of contemporary Australian theatre. Award nominations were announced and these will be presented at the Drama Celebration Night on 20 November at 6.00pm.

The piece chosen to be performed at the Drama Celebration Night was Burnt performed by Lachlan Binnekamp, Tobias Bowgerald, Spencer Farrell and Corey Twining.

Yr 9 Performance – Headlines

11 and 12 November

Yr 9 Drama students will present Headlines, an evening of Docudrama pieces, devised by the students, exploring some of the controversial and unusual news stories of recent times. Parents and friends are welcome to attend these performances in the Drama Studio at 6.30pm.

Extra Subject Classes in Performing Arts

Students involved in after school classes in Film, Acting and Music Theatre will all be involved in soiree performances which will be held from 14 November with further details following in classes. Parents and friends are welcome to attend.
