Interesting Article of the Week

This week I have been fortunate enough to visit Winter School in Jindabyne and spend time with the students both on the slopes and in the classroom. It has been great seeing so many of the Yr 9s who are at Winter School and to notice how much they seem to be enjoying the experience. As a result of my visit, I thought you may be interested in reading about the benefits of skiing, with both physical and mental health.

Pastoral Care Program

This week students have been considering how they can be safe at parties, in particular looking at realistic scenarios of situations they could find themselves in. They have been brainstorming as a Tutor Group as to the best actions to ensure safety of themselves and each other.

Social Awareness Program

Students have continued watching a documentary which follows the lives of families who have been impacted by the war in Syria.
