Redlander Visits Redlands

Interested Yr 10, 11 and 12 students were so fortunate to hear from Stella Everett, Class of 2018, who was accepted into the Acting program at WAAPA, NYU and Juilliard. Stella will be leaving for New York City in August to begin the Acting program at Juilliard and had some great advice and shared personal experiences about the audition process both here in Australia and the USA. She emphasised how her subjects at school and major works had an impact on her skill-set and success, and encouraged fellow students to apply for a wide range of institutions and start the process of research and audition preparation early.

Win A Trip to Lincoln University, NZ

If you are in Yrs 11 or 12 and have an interest in a land-based degree then you must apply for this all expense paid trip! This five day trip is from 30 September to 4 October and includes mini lectures, applied learning, exploring Christchurch city and, of course, Lincoln University. An essay on why you want to ‘land the trip’ is the application. See/email Ms Salier for further information. Deadline is Friday 12 July.

Northern Sydney Apprenticeship and Traineeship Expo

This will be held at The Concourse in Chatswood on Tuesday 20 August from 3.00-8.00pm. Admission is free, a great way to find out about all the options available, help with career and study advice and more. Click here for more information.

Whitehouse Winter Workshops

These workshops are in the holidays and cover areas such as interior illustration, fashion illustration, image styling and photography and for those wanting advice on how to build a portfolio for tertiary admission, there is a design portfolio workshop. More information here.
