Shakespeare Regional Final
Congratulations to the Yr 11 IB Theatre students who competed at the Regional Shakespeare Carnival on Tuesday at Jameson High School. The team won and is now competing at the State Carnival at the Seymour Centre. The team featured Greta Feldman, Aleisha Lawrence and Domenica Stuart.
Theatresports Intermediate Regional Final
Congratulations to the Intermediate team who performed brilliantly on Tuesday. From gibberish speaking dogs to dancing mountain climbers, the Intermediate Theatresports team travelled to Roseville College to compete in the Semi Finals. Walking away with 4th place, the team should be extremely proud of their efforts, with only one point separating the top four teams. The team featured Benedict Adamson, Kyle Banfield, Alexander Gibbs, Claudia Lalich, and Callum Warndman-Browne.
Solo Showcase “To thine own self be true”
12 and 18 June in the Drama Studio at 6.30pm
Congratulations to the HSC Drama students who presented their major works this week in the Solo Showcase. Year 12 IB students will be presenting their solo performances next Tuesday 18 June. Please join them as they step on to the stage for their Solo Showcase.
Drama Competition
20 August at 6.30pm in the Drama Studio
The Drama Competition, an initiative of past Theatre Captain Christian Wilkins, is an opportunity for students to gain performance experience in a contemporary style. Students compete in either solo or group categories in contemporary works in either tragedy or comedy with participation points going to the House competition. Audition forms will be available here with auditions held early next term on Wednesday 24 July from 3.30pm. Students can compete in either solo or group categories in contemporary or classical works in either tragedy or comedy with participation points going to the House competition.
