Debating

Congratulations to the teams listed in the table below who will be debating in the final rounds of their competitions. Well done to the many others who made it to the knock out rounds. We have had a fantastic season!

FED Grand Final: The bus will leave Redlands at 3.45pm for MLC. I will be accompanying the students. Please see an email from me earlier this week for venue details.

ISDA Semi Final: A bus will leave Redlands at 3.45pm for St Luke’s. Dr Michels will be accompanying the students. We have not yet received information from the venue but this will be sent to parents when received.

Debaters involved in the Senior Music Festival: As mentioned in emails to students and parents, Mr Colyer will bring students from Chatswood to Redlands so that they can catch the buses to the venues. The students are requested to return to Chatswood on the completion of their debates. Parents will have to arrange for them to be transported from the debates to The Concourse. Mr Mirrlees-Black has kindly agreed to drive 3 ISDA musicians from Dee Why to Chatswood.

SDN Trials (Yrs 7 to 10): Trials for the Semester 2 SDN competition will take place on Friday 21 June from 3.30-5.30pm in rooms T14 to T17. All Yrs 7-10 students are expected to be there if they wish to debate next Semester. Senior students will need to contact Ela Kos if they wish to debate in SDN. There is only one Senior team in the competition with a maximum of six spots. Senior students are requested to be at the trials to help run them.
