Celebration of Redlands Konica Minolta Art Prize Collection
Members of the Redlands community gathered to view a selection of the Art Prize Collection at the Celebration of the RKMAP Collection last Thursday at the John Roberts Centre. Cameron Robbins, our Artist in Residence, spoke about his in-situ artwork which he has been working on for the last couple of weeks outside the Centre.

In particular I would like to acknowledge Dr Kate Williams (contemporary artist and past parent) and Mark Harpley (Head of Visual Arts) for their vision, diligence and energy needed for a project on this scale. While our facilities are very important for building and sustaining a rich and dynamic learning environment, even more vital is the sense of community and spirit we create within these environs.
One such precious ingredient for this is the means–tested Redlands Scholarship Fund, launched by Principal Dr Peter Lennox in 2010. This Fund creates life-changing opportunities for exceptional young people to realise their full potential, when a Redlands education would otherwise be out of reach.

Industry visits
In conjunction with our Careers and University Advisor, Simone Salier, Redlands Alumni are hosting small groups of Yr 10 students at their workplaces for the Redlands Industry Visits Day tomorrow. Alumni workplaces include The One Centre (Advertising / Communications), Canon (Marketing / Imaging), NewsCorp (Media) and 13 St James Hall (Law). Thank you to these Redlanders for their support.
