Football
Please refer to Redlands Pulse – Football for the most up to date Football information for the season. The 2019 Football Handbook contains information regarding selection policy, key dates, wet weather procedures, and the 2019 training schedule.
On Saturday 30 March our Boys A Football teams travelled to Redfield to participate in their Gala Day. A great start to the day saw the 13A Boys finish with a convincing win. The 14A Boys had a much closer game, but played well and managed to end the game with a 2-1 win. The Redfield 15As were a very strong side, our boys competed hard but Redfield had the edge at the final whistle. Redlands 16As played a fantastic game and came away with a very strong win, and the 1sts Boys fought hard, but unfortunately Redfield were too strong on the day. It was a great day for Boys Football and our teams showed some promising signs for the upcoming season.
The Chevalier Gala Day will not be going ahead for Football this year, however, please see the training schedule for this Saturday 6 April below. All sessions will be held at the Redlands Junior School Oval.
8.00 – 9.00am: Junior A/Inter A Girls Training
9.00 – 10.00am: 1sts/2nds Girls Training
10.00 – 11.00am: 16A Boys Training
11.00am – 12.00pm: 1sts Boys Training
Please continue to make Redlands Pulse your first point of contact for all things Football for the 2019 Winter Season.
Indoor Hockey
Our Indoor Hockey team had a great 6-5 win over Queenwood. This has shot the girls into the Grand Final this week against Ascham. The girls have had a great season so far and we wish them all the best in their Grand Final on Friday at Marie Bashir Gym.
Netball
NSNA Netball begins this weekend Saturday 5 April. Parents and players are asked to check Redlands Pulse for their game times and a gentle reminder that parking at Willoughby can be difficult at the best of times, so please allow for extra travel time.
Additional skill development training will run for Yrs 7-12 on Wednesday mornings in Lang Gym from 7.00 – 8.00am, this is a great session and is open for all players.
All players are reminded to come to all training prepared with correct uniform, Netball appropriate shoes and also water bottles to each training.
The training schedule can be found on Redlands Pulse – Netball. This will remain in place for the 2019 Winter Sport season. A reminder that both trainings are compulsory for all players and take precedent over any extra curricular activities. For those sessions off site on Tuesday, training will finish at 5.00pm and return to school by 5.30pm. Those off site on Thursday training will finish at 4.00pm and return to school by 4.30pm. If you would like your daughter to have permission to leave from an offsite training venue (Willoughby or Crow’s Nest Rooftop), please email Mr Cameron Ellis.
