Redlands Konica Minolta Artist in Residence (RKMAIR)

This year we are delighted to showcase the Redlands Konica Minolta Art Prize Collection. The Redlands Collection, created from 22 years of the acquisitive Prize, is a remarkable collection of artworks reflecting and documenting contemporary practice in Australia and New Zealand. Redlands now has a unique and valuable teaching collection which includes works from Imants Tillers, Ben Quilty and Lindy Lee to name but a few.

This is also an opportunity to meet Cameron Robbins who is leading the Redlands Konica Minolta Artist in Residence program 2019. Cameron will be at Redlands in May working with students and staff creating a site-responsive artwork, connecting with the natural conditions and the built landscape, including the current  Senior Campus redevelopment.

Obituary

It is with great sadness we advise of the passing Redlander and accomplished NIDA graduate Amy Longhurst, Class of 1988 on Sunday 21 March. Amy was a most sought-after voiceover artist, a professional singer and the voice behind many iconic brands, working with every major Australian advertising agency and radio network, represented by EM Voices. Amy taught at NIDA, AFTRS and the Sydney Theatre School. Amy had recently committed to working with current Redlands students during National Careers Week in May. Amy will be greatly missed by her close family, many Redlander friends and industry professionals.
