Music
Last week we announced our Music Performance Competition for 2025. We’re excited about this change that will focus our community across both campuses and bring together our vocalists, pianists and instrumentalists from Years 3-12.
This competition will replace our currently separate Vocal, Piano and Instrumental Competitions.
We’ve received a lot of great feedback from our community and we encourage you to have your say before Monday 3 November, when the form will close.
Please click below for more information. More information regarding entrance requirements will become available in the coming weeks.

Upcoming Junior Curriculum Instrumental Performances
Term 4 is always an exciting time for our curriculum instrumentalists, as we aim towards our biggest performances of the year. Yr 2 and Yr 3 Strings are looking forward to performing in the Strings Concert, and Yr 4 and 5 students are busy preparing for the MIP Concert. In our lessons we have spoken about those pesky nerves that sometimes get in the way, and how we can help to overcome them by being well prepared and ready to perform. We encourage students to continue regular practice at home, and our Tutors are always available to help with any tricky passages. Please save the date for the following performances which will be open to parent and carer visitors:
Yr 2 & 3 Strings: Strings Concert, Monday 4 Nov 2pm
Yr 4 & 5: MIP Concert, Thursday 7 Nov 2pm
Calling Future Viola and Double Bass Players
Are you looking to stand out in the orchestra and take on an exciting musical challenge? Our ensembles are in need of talented students to learn the viola and double bass! Both of these instruments play essential roles in creating the rich, full sound of an ensemble. Whether you’re interested in deep, resonant basslines or the warm, unique voice of the viola, now is the perfect time to start learning. Get in touch with Ms Moses if you are interested.
