Community Update

A warm welcome and thank you to Tara Boris, Kathryn Parsons and Daniella Aburto Valle who joined the Redlands Parents and Friends Association (RPFA) Committee at last week’s Annual General Meeting. Thank you to our passionate RPFA Executive of Brittne Whitelaw (President), Carrie Taylor (Vice President), Joseph Russo (Treasurer) and Jennifer Mast (Secretary) who will all continue in their roles into 2025.  Thanks too to the outgoing RPFA members of Emma Okahovat, Lisa Middlebrook and Monika Crennan who collectively and individually made significant contributions to our School during their tenure.

The RPFA continues to keep our community connected, included and supported within the many and varied aspects of school life and their support and guidance remains invaluable. Our committed and generous volunteer members highlight the vital role our wider community plays in the growth and prosperity of Redlands, and we are ever grateful for their contribution. It was lovely to catch up with so many of our passionate parents and carers at the Volunteer Appreciation event held last week, where the significant contribution of many was acknowledged and celebrated.

Thank you to those in our community who have placed bids in our online auction in support of the means-tested Coralie Amos OAM Scholarship. The auction remains open until 3.30pm on Tuesday 5 November so there is still time to take a look and make a bid on the exceptional and unique items generously gifted by our community.

Thank you for your continued guidance and support and as ever, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community Engagement team, or to me directly, should you have any feedback, suggestions or questions.
