Community Update
Welcome to Term 4. We trust that you had the opportunity to enjoy some family time over the holiday period to rest and renew as another busy term of community events and activities awaits.
Our highly anticipated Festival of Redlands will take place this Saturday from 1 to 5pm on our Junior Campus where we will shine a light on 140 years of our School highlighting our rich and diverse culture, growth, talent and community. The Festival will showcase Performing Arts, Sports, Academics, Visual Arts, Innovative Design and Outdoor Education and feature an international food extravaganza, student art auction and alumni café (with barista made coffee). The Redlands spirit will spring to life through a House Challenge where participation in activities and friendly competition will generate points towards the awarding of the Festival of Redlands Cup. Be sure to pick up your House wristband and do not miss the House tug-of-war that wraps up the Festival. Thank you to the many parents, staff, students and friends of Redlands for bringing this unique event together. More information, along with ticketing details, can be found in the RPFA section of today’s Note Day.

Parents and carers who are interested in shaping the future of the School are invited and encouraged to nominate for the various RPFA Committee positions that will become available at the 2024 RPFA Annual General Meeting (AGM), to be held at the School on Thursday 24 October. The meeting notification can be found here. The AGM provides the opportunity for our community to hear how the RPFA serves the School and includes an update from our Principal. The meeting concludes with the election of the committee and there is no obligation to nominate if attending the AGM. For more information on how you can become involved as a volunteer at Redlands please visit the RPFA section.
Thank you for your continued guidance and support and as ever, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community Engagement team, or to me directly, should you have any feedback, suggestions or questions.
All the best for the term ahead.
