Congratulations to the 2025 Leadership Team

We are thrilled to congratulate the students who have been elected to leadership positions for 2025. Representing the student body is a significant achievement, and these roles come with the responsibility to serve the school community with dedication, humility, and vision. Leadership is not just about holding a position; it’s about making a positive difference and inspiring others along the way.

SDN Debating

The SDN competition is a Debating competition that is held between independent schools located in Sydney’s North Shore. Debates are held on Friday nights during Term 3 and run for seven consecutive rounds, with an additional two rounds for semi-finals and finals.

Congratulations to the following students who made it to the SDN debating final. Elias Buggy-Axton, Bernice Cheung, Jenna Forrest and Alexia Tscalos. We wish you all the best for the final debate.

Ice Cream Social

Thank you to all of our wonderful helpers during the Ice Cream Social today. We wanted to use this opportunity to say thank you for a wonderful term with Yr 7 students. They have really stepped up to the challenge and we have been lucky enough to be part of some wonderful experiences and opportunities. This is also a time to show gratitude and appreciation to all of the staff who help make Redlands such a caring and nurturing environment.

World Clean Up Day

On 8 December 2023, the United Nations General Assembly, in its seventy-eighth session, unanimously adopted resolution 78/122 “World Cleanup Day”, which proclaims 20 September as World Cleanup Day. The resolution invites all Member States, organizations of the United Nations system, other international and regional organisations, and other relevant stakeholders – including civil society, the private sector and academia – to observe World Cleanup Day through activities aimed at raising awareness of the role clean-up efforts play in sustainable development.

Over the years, many national, regional and local governments and communities have been undertaking clean-up activities globally. World Cleanup Day represents the reflection on their achievements. The clean-ups serve as a reminder of the collective responsibility we share in preserving and maintaining a clean and healthy environment as well as sustainable waste and resources management.

Yr 7 students will be engaging in a school clean-up over the next week and will get hands on making sure our school is a positive environment for everyone. Thank you to Kimberlee Chipper, Redlands Sustainability Manager who has created a wonderful presentation for Friday’s World Clean Up Day and has facilitated the resources to leave our School better than we found it.

Shout Outs

A huge thank you to Isabelle Salz who stepped into a number of additional ISA events this week and was a incredibly positive support for other students throughout the day.
