Inaugural Giving Day – Wednesday 21 August – Two weeks to Go!

We are very grateful for everyone’s support so far to make the Giving Day possible! This is an exciting year at Redlands as we launch our major philanthropic campaign, the Redlands Giving Day, in support of the High Country Campus expansion and the establishment of another means-tested scholarship in honour of Redlander Coralie Amos OAM.

The expansion of the High Country Campus includes staff and student accommodation as well as sports fields and an accommodation for the campus manager. Thanks to the incredible support of our matching gift donors, who have pledged to triple every donation made on the day, magnifying the impact of your contributions significantly. Our goal for the day is to raise $400,000!

“There is space for kids to flex in terms of their freedom, but within a safe and comfortable environment they know belongs to Redlands.”
Gemma Van de Peer, Head of Secondary School, Redlands School

The success of this campaign hinges on the enthusiastic participation of our entire community. Every member of our community has an opportunity to participate. We are also seeking volunteers who can assist us on the Day. It will be a lot of fun and a great opportunity to support the School and be part of the Giving Day Team! We need volunteers to come and help on the day with additional emails and outbound calls.

There will be an optional information session organised on Thursday 15 August. If you wish to learn more, please contact me directly.

Alumni Olympians

Prep school students welcomed and interviewed two of our Alumni Olympians, Karyn Gojnich and James Talbott during their special assembly dedicated to the Paris Olympics.

Karyn and James shared their passion for sport, the dedication and effort required to achieve their dreams and their best memories of Redlands. Students were able to try on a few special outfits which added to the atmosphere at the assembly.

Welcoming a New Staff Member

A warm welcome for Iman into the Foundation Office as Development Manager, a newly created role which will focus on building further our sustainable and long-term culture of Giving. Iman will be engaging with our growing community of philanthropic donors who share our vision of enriching the lives of current and future students through innovative and creative learning.

Iman brings a wealth of expertise, having previously worked at Macquarie University and University of NSW, bringing with her a passion for education and experience in fundraising, and prior to that she had a long career in journalism. In her spare time, Iman loves researching her next travel destination, taking long walks in the mountains, reading and swimming in the ocean.
