Head of Junior School
We are looking forward to this afternoon’s Junior Music Festival, a highlight of our school calendar showcasing the impressive talents of our Junior School students. We know that participation in performing arts offers numerous benefits for students. As well as fostering creativity, performance opportunities boost self-confidence and enhance collaboration. From a learning perspective engaging in music can improve cognitive abilities, such as memory and spatial reasoning, which can positively impact academic performance.
I acknowledge that the road to such performances is paved with preparation, practice, and hard work. Our students have dedicated many hours perfecting their pieces, working both individually and in groups. The Junior Music Festival is an opportunity for our students to shine, express themselves and hopefully to develop skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. I thank our music staff and the broader staff team for their commitment and dedication to make the JMF such a special and valuable event in our school. We look forward to seeing our students’ hard work and passion come to life on stage.

Jeans for Genes
Thank you all for your support with Jeans for Genes Day last Friday. Without your support, we would not have raised such a significant amount of money for the charity and increased awareness about this important issue. Redlands is the No. 1 donor in the school category on Jeans for Genes Day. This year a total of $1,216.35 was raised with Redlands in-school events with a further $9,240.25 raised on the Jeans for Genes Day Website.
Giving Day
On Wednesday 21 August we are excited to launch our major philanthropic campaign, Giving Day. Our Giving Day campaign supports the High Country Campus expansion and establishes another important means-tested scholarship in honour of Redlander Coralie Amos OAM.
Giving Day promises to be a fantastic day of celebration that will have a transformational impact for our students. I look forward to the Redlands community coming together on the day where we’ll have 24 hours to reach our giving target of $400,000. Thanks to the incredible support of our matching gift donors, every donation on this day will be tripled, increasing the impact of everyone’s contributions significantly.
For more information about our Giving Day and how you can get involved, please visit the Foundation section or our website.
Father’s Day Celebration

In the event of rain, the celebration will continue as planned, with arrangements made to accommodate refreshments undercover.
