Community Update
It was a pleasure to join the Junior School Parent Contact Group (PCG) meeting earlier this week. We are so grateful for our active and passionate PCGs who continue to explore and deliver ways to keep our community connected, included and supported. The term has commenced with a vast array of class, year group and program events and activities for parent and carers and these can all be found listed in the RPFA section of Note Day.
My thanks to our students, staff and alumni, along with the many parents and carers who support their children in preparation, for the wonderful performances and production of Gala Arts 2024. In a whole of community event it was particularly inspiring to see the connection between our alumni, the School and our performers. Our alumni continue to inspire, support and motivate our students and staff in all aspects of their endeavours. Our Guest Judges this year provide a small but impressive snapshot of our alumni who are pursuing careers and further study across the performing arts. Their impressive portfolios of work can be found in the Foundation section of today’s Note Day.
Planning is well underway for the Festival of Redlands, a celebration of Redlands’ 140th year proudly hosted by the Redlands Parents and Friends Association and the Redlanders Alumni Association, in collaboration with the School. This unique event will showcase our community’s rich history of achievements, programs and talent through a diverse array of interactive activities, displays and performances in an afternoon of fun, food and entertainment. We invite you to celebrate, participate and enjoy the festivities with us. More information, along with a call out for volunteers, can be found here.
Thank you for your continued guidance and support and as ever, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community Engagement team, or to me directly, should you have any feedback, suggestions or questions.
