Term 3 Dates 2024 

Welcome to Term 3 at the Academy

Students are returning to school triumphant after a holiday of Dance Competitions. We are so proud of all the performers and thankful for the wonderful choreography that our RDA teachers have created. We are thrilled that these talented students will be performing their solos in Redlands Hall at the RDA Solo Soiree on 2 August at 6.30pm. This is a free event, and everyone is welcome, so please do join us – no tickets, rsvp or booking required.

Well done to our Year 9 Jazz Trio Lucy Goodsall, Charlotte Algar and Tara Ward who performed their piece for the first time at Ryde Eisteddfod and are excited to compete at Gala Arts on Friday!

All the best to our Senior Ballet Performers who are also competing at Gala Arts and to our Senior Jazz Performers who will make a special appearance their winning dance in advance of the Sydney Eisteddfod Dance of Champions.

Semester 2 Classes

If you are new to the Academy, or would like your child to enrol in more classes at the Academy, then please see our TIMETABLES and ENROLMENTS pages on Pulse for further information.

Please note that enrolments for 2024 close on Sunday 28 July.

Absent or Away from Class

If your child is sick or will miss their dance class then please complete the RDA Absent from Class form – CLICK HERE

A reminder that for private lessons, you need to contact your private lesson teacher and cc the Dance Department. 24 hours notice is required for any cancellations. Any private lesson missed with less than 24 hours notice will be charged as a received lesson. Note: for private lessons please do not complete the RDA Absent from Class form.
