To wrap up the term we are thrilled to announce that the Senior Jazz Performers 2 came first place for their incredible performance in the Sydney Eisteddfod last weekend and have been invited to dance at the Dance of Champions on 8 September! You will get the chance to see their piece at Gala Arts on Friday 26 July. 

Congratulations also to the Senior Ballet Performers who received highly commended and who will also be performing at Gala Arts, and also to our Senior Jazz Performers 1 who you will see perform at the Solo Soiree on Friday 2 August. All pieces will be shown at our annual Dance Awards on Sunday 15 September and the Festival of Redlands: Shining a Light on 140 Years on Saturday 19 October.

GOLD

A magical ballet of friendship and love set in the Australian bush during the historic gold rush.

Told entirely through the dance form of ballet, Gold is a journey through Australia’s early migrant history and incorporates bush characters based on Indigenous flora and fauna, in an accessible, non-verbal mode of performance that will delight and engage.

COMPOSER: Me-Lee Hay

15-17 August at Lennox Theatre, Riverside Theatres Paramatta.
