Save the Date: Inaugural Giving Day, Wednesday 21 August

This year we are hosting our very first Giving Day, and we invite the entire Redlands community to join us in raising funds for the expansion of the High Country Campus and the Coralie Amos OAM Scholarship appeal.

How you can participate in this very special event:

  • Volunteer: Come and assist on the day.
  • Spread the word: Share information about the event through your social channels.

The Heart and Soul of our Redlands Outdoor Education

Established more than 30 years ago through the generous support of our Redlands families, the High Country Campus is home to our Winter School, the newly established Year 9 Moonbah Program and is the heart of our Outdoor Education program.

To continue these unique and special Redlands experiences for our students, your ongoing support and investment is needed to upgrade our High Country Campus facilities.

“I’m a huge fan of the High Country Campus. My children have benefited greatly from the independence and social development that the term long Winter School program offers. I’m delighted the School is leveraging these amazing attributes through the Moonbah Program for future students. It has the potential to be one of the highlights of their school education.”

Grahame Petersen, Chair, Redlands Foundation Advisory Committee, Current Parent

The Redlands inaugural Giving Day will play a vital role in achieving this year’s philanthropic target of $1M supporting the expansion of the High Country Campus and the Coralie Amos OAM Scholarship .

Congratulations Tate Boswarva, Redlander 2022

Tate Boswarva, Redlander 2022, has been named a Finalist in the 2024 in the Northern Beaches Environmental Art & Design Prize

Tate’s three piece wearable artwork “Occyan Morphosis” is a profound reflection on the impact of plastic waste on marine life. The wearable artwork envisions a future where sea creatures, entangled in pollution, undergo a metamorphosis to survive.

Crafted from 17 upcycled denim jeans, the ensemble includes a bolero, bralette, and trousers, each meticulously stitched to symbolise the 4,000 litres of water typically required to produce a single pair of jeans. The design is further enriched with 21 meters of discarded fast fashion plastic packaging and sequins repurposed from everyday waste items like chewing gum containers, coffee cup lids, water bottles, and takeaway containers, collected over the past five years.

The exhibition will be open to the public from August 2–25 with the Wearable Art category featuring Tate’s work showcased at the Curl Curl Creative Space. You can help Tate win the People’s Choice Category by visiting the exhibition and voting for her work. Well done, Tate!
