Twilight Cocktails
Thank you to the RPFA and all the volunteers who were involved in organising such a wonderful evening. The event was attended by over 500 Redlands parents and staff, providing a great opportunity to meet new parents and catch up with old friends.
A special thank you to Anna Maria Stillone (RPFA Committee Member), Michelle Tea (RPFA President) and Melanie Hendra, Redlands Events Manager for their exceptional dedication to make this function happen. Thanks also to the pianist Jack Williams (Class of 2017) who was a member of the Jazz Band whilst at Redlands.
Foundation Survey
We would greatly appreciate a few minutes of your time to respond to our survey here. This survey is anonymous and will help us to understand the awareness of the Redlands Foundation among our community. A summary of this survey will be shared in the next Foundation newsletter. We thank you in advance.
Redlands Inaugural Sports Luncheon – Celebrating 120 Years of Redlands Sport
The Luncheon will provide a great opportunity to celebrate the integral value of sport to the Redlands community and its students of the past, present and future. This event is open to all our parents and Alumni. Get a table together with your Year Group, Sports group or with your friends.
One of our esteemed Alumni speakers and former parent, who will be sharing her inspiring sports journey, is Karyn Gojnich (Davis), Class of 1978.
Karyn has had a professional Sailing career spanning over 20 years, including representing Australia at the 1988, 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games. Alongside this, she balanced a career in the IT industry developing custom software and — with her husband John — raising two daughters who also attended Redlands. In 2018 she was selected as the Sailing team manager and coach for the Youth Olympic Games held in Buenos Aries, Argentina. Previously a Board Member of Australian Sailing as well as the Oceania Sailing Federation, she is now on the Board of the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron. Karyn remains a strong advocate for Sailing, currently focusing on introducing more children and women to the sport.
“Sport, any sport, I believe teaches us how to play the game and at the same time so many other life skills which is why it is so important to all Redlanders, now and in the future” Karyn Gojnich
Please join us on Friday 5 April to celebrate 120 Years of Redlands Sport with our community and hear other inspiring speakers. Bookings are open here.
