Long Weekend Message
This morning, we met as a cohort to reiterate a few key messages for Yr 12 …
We are so PROUD of them as a cohort. They are consistently being recognised by teachers as “hard workers” and “starting this year STRONG.”
We will always have areas for improvement and we do need to “be better” and “step up further” in some areas as that is part of life.
This weekend, they are encouraged to take time to rest, be present with family and prepare for these last two weeks of term.
Parents and carers, thank you for your ongoing communication, time, patience, feedback, celebrations and support. Wishing you and your families a restful and rejuvenating Easter long weekend.
Legally Blonde – “Omigod you guys” What a show!
Last week, Redlands students took to the stage with an impressive presentation of Legally Blonde, the musical. This high energy musical left the crowd speechless, dancing in their chairs and singing all weekend long. The months of preparation leading up to three solid performances were intense and students described it as “super fun,” “stressful,” and “time with friends.” Each character was cast perfectly, the lighting and sound drew you further into the show and the staging, makeup, hair and costumes added to this impressive performance.
We also had our very own Yr 12 Assistant Year Advisor, Katharine Boase, as producer, choreographer and designer for Legally Blonde. She has many talents and it was an even more meaningful experience for her to join the Yr 12 students in their last musical of their Secondary School career. Congratulations to all cast and crew.
