  • Best wishes to Aurora Golowenko, James Ireland, Marina Viese Vivaldi and James Whelan who left for a three week exchange to New Zealand on Saturday. We look forward to hearing about their experiences. Yr 8 will welcome four students from New Zealand in early Term 2.
  • Well done to Isabella and Angus McLachlan who have been accepted into the annual Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive Program held in New York.
  • During Pastoral Care this week, students have continued work on organisation. Students have each completed an A3 Wall Planner which they will be bringing home to stick up on the wall in their study area.
Student Planners

Some students are naturally organised; for others, organisation is a learned skill. Each cycle, Tutors are viewing Student Planners to ensure they are being used correctly as a tool to aid time management. We ask that parents also assist students in the use of this important resource by viewing and signing Student Planners each week. Students should be recording 1) the date home learning is assigned; and 2) the date home learning is due.

Parent Pastoral Care Presentation with Dr Judith Lock

On Monday 25 February, we are very pleased to be hosting clinical psychologist and author of The Bonsai Child, Dr Judith Locke. This is part of our ongoing focus on wellbeing, as well as providing another of the many parent education and engagement opportunities here at Redlands. The event is being held in Redlands Hall and begins at 6pm.

In an ever-changing world, parents are constantly wondering how they can best support their child. As part of our on-going efforts to support parents we are excited to announce that Clinical Psychologist and author Dr Judith Locke will be coming to Redlands to present to parents around how to support their child to become confident and capable. The workshop is designed to provide specific strategies to assist the young people we care for to achieve their personal best, both within the classrooms as well as in other areas of life. Judith will provide advice as to how to support your child in a friendly and relatable way as well as providing specific strategies around how to help your child become independent and make the most of their opportunities whilst at school.
