Study Centre Year 7-11
Study Centre is open after school for students in Year 7 to 11 in the Roseby Library. Students wishing to remain behind after school to engage in home learning or assessment preparation are required to use the Roseby Library for this purpose. Ms Alice will supervise the Year 7-11 Study Centre in Roseby Library Monday to Thursday from 3.30-7.00pm.
NB: Only Year 12 are permitted to use the Redlands Learning Hub after school.
Students staying late to attend Study Centre in Roseby Library may purchase Study Centre Dinner via Flexi-Schools, as an additional offering. A Study Centre Dinner order needs to be placed on the day and collected from the Canteen between 5.30-5.45pm.
Writing Competitions
The following writing competitions are now open for submissions from students in Year 7-12:
- The Nan Manfield Young Writers’ Award – deadline: 14 April 2024
- The Whitlam Institute What Matters? Competition (fiction, non-fiction, prose or poetry) – deadline: 17 May 2024
- Mosman Youth Awards in Literature (prose and poetry) – deadline: 31 May 2024
We encourage all students to have a go at crafting a piece of writing. Whether it’s based on work they’ve done in English class or out of their own interest, writing a piece that is judged externally, it is a great way to gain validation for effort and skill.

International Women’s Day
Thank you to Imogen Jeffery-Bilich and Jesse Forrest for assisting with the School’s inaugural International Women’s Day Breakfast on Monday.
Balmoral Swim
The Balmoral Swim Schools Relay Challenge is back! On Sunday morning, 24 March, local schools will come together to raise funds for the Children’s Cancer Institute and have fun participating in an open water swim relay. Each team consists of four swimmers, and each swimmer will swim a 200 m leg of the relay. Participants can choose to swim in their year category or an older category, and the entry cost is a $20 donation per swimmer.
Not a swimmer? No problem! You can still support the cause by donating to the Redlands fundraising page to help raise funds for the Children’s Cancer Institute. This is a fantastic opportunity to come together, have some fun, and raise funds for a great cause.
