Year 8 “Caught in the Act”
Year 8 has come back from camp and is straight into a whirlwind of devising and rehearsing for their performance assessment in Week 10. Starting from a theme of friendship and a basic line of dialogue, students are embarking upon creating a completely new and original piece of theatre. It is their first foray into rehearsed performance, and the students have thrown themselves in with vim and vigour. They started this week with constructing some tableaux (freeze-frames) as a jumping off point for their pieces – pictured above.

Hosted by our fabulous Arts Captains, Hallie and Sholto, and held in the Music Hub on 11 April at 6:30pm, it’s definitely going to be a lot of fun! We would love to see you there! And a special thank you to all the Year 7s who have joined this year. You have brought a wonderful new energy to our club.
