Tutor Time this Week

This week in Tutor time, Year 10 students have spent time reconnecting as a group, and working collaboratively to develop shared Tutor group goals. These goals are focused on the following points:

  • How can we create a supportive and inclusive environment within our Tutor Group to ensure the emotional wellbeing of each student?
  • What strategies can we collectively employ to ensure active participation and meaningful engagement in the activities and discussions during our Tutor time, with the goal of extracting the most value for both personal wellbeing and academic development?
  • What specific study habits or techniques can we collectively adopt and encourage to improve our academic performance and time management?
  • In what ways can we establish a peer support system within our Tutor Group to help each other navigate academic challenges and promote a positive learning atmosphere?
  • How can we use the regular goal-setting exercises and reflection sessions to track individual and collective progress in both academic and personal development over the course of the year?
  • What cocurricular activities or workshops could we explore together to promote a holistic approach to our personal growth, encompassing both academic achievements and well-rounded skill development?
  • How can we use our Tutor Leaders to best support the Tutor Group, and the wider cohort?
