December 2023 -January 2024 Vacation Care for Redlands House and Transition Gold

We would like to invite you to enrol your child in our upcoming Dec 2023-Jan 2024 Vacation Care program. To obtain all relevant information pertaining to the holiday activity schedule and daily requirements, we encourage you to visit the Extended Care page in Pulse to view the program. You may proceed with your booking on Friday November 17^th, by sending an email directly to Extendedcare@redlands.nsw.edu.au. Please note that bookings will only be accepted starting from 10:00 AM onwards. Any emails or requests received before this time will not be taken into consideration. We kindly request your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this timeline. Our aim is to ensure a fair and organized booking process for all interested participants. Please be advised that bookings are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If your child is not returning to Redlands in 2024, we regret to inform you that they will be unable to attend the Vacation Care program. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our program eligibility criteria.

Redlands House and TG students who will return in 2024 and attend Kindy, will still have to join Redlands House Vacation Care till Jan 2024.

Junior Sing-a-long

With only four full weeks left of Term 4, we are starting to think about Christmas. You will start to see decorations in Redlands House and the glitter and tinsel will be everywhere. All the classes have been busy rehearsing their songs for the sing-a-longs and concert, they are excited to be performing for you. 

20 November – Orange Class Juniors Sing-a-long, 10am
24 November – Yellow Class Juniors Sing-a-long, 9.30am
24 November – Blue Class Juniors Sing-a-long, 10am

Seniors and Transition Gold Concert 

Costume Requirements – Each child requires a white pair pants, shorts or skirt for the concert. Can these items please be brought to school in a named zip lock bag before Wednesday 22 November. We will have a full dress rehearsal on Wednesday 22 November. The children will be provided with a t-shirt to wear for the concert.

Concert Day 29 November – Children are to arrive at school by 9am on Concert Day in their normal school uniform. The concert will begin at 10am and should conclude by 10.45am. The students will return to Preschool for the rest of the day. Should you wish to take your child home, they can be collected from the Preschool after the concert, once they have changed back into their Redlands uniform.

HSC and IB Senior Studies Information Evening- this Monday 20 November

At Redlands, in the final years of schooling, students are offered the choice of either the HSC or IB pathways for students. The following upcoming Parent Information Evening for families from Redlands House to Yr 9 will be insightful as parents look ahead for your child. You can still register to attend the evening.
