Yr 12 Collection

Congrats to all the HSC students who are now done with all their exams and good luck to IB students who have one more week to go… We will be collecting uniforms and textbooks that are no longer required from our Yr 12 graduates as soon as all exams are over on Fri 10 Nov from 10.30am to noon at the RPFA unit at 1 Monford Place.

Sun 5 Nov 2pm	3Yellow end of year event at Cammeray Tennis Club We have hired parts of the Tennis Club to have a BBQ and organised a bouncy castle plus games – so it should be fun! Please bring any foods you would like to put on the BBQ, salads and drinks
Fri 10 Nov 6pm	Yr 7 end of year parent drinks at The Fernery, Mosman Please join us at The Fernery Rooftop Balcony for a lovely evening of canapes and drinks to celebrate the end of Year 7. Book your tickets here
Wed 15 Nov 6.30pm	Yr 9 Barefoot Bowls at Neutral Bay Club Please come along for canapes and barefoot bowling (optional) to celebrate our students making it to the end of Year 9. Drinks will be available for purchase. Book your tickets here

We’ve got a private, roped off area with seating on the promenade level and our own bar access. Maximum capacity of 120, so book your tickets here asap!
Sun 3 Dec 1pm	3Blue beach party at Balmoral Water Sports Centre Join us for an afternoon of fun in the sun with kayaking and SUPing. A sausage sizzle will be provided on the day. Book your family ticket here

Walks on Tracks

Weekly guided walks around the northern Sydney area are organised by an RPFA volunteer. This is a great way to meet other Redlands parents and get in shape, plus a wonderful way to spend a morning discovering the many paths of the Sydney area.

The invitation for walks is open, so if you have friends or family who you think would like to come along, please feel free to bring them. Dogs are also welcome on most walks.

Our walk next week on Wed 8 Nov is from Shelly Beach to Curl Curl. Meet at the Shelly Beach carpark at 8.40am.

Book Club

The Redlands Book Club is a group of Redlands parents – past and present – who share a love of reading. New members are always welcome! The Book Club meets twice each school term to discuss a book, rotating among members’ homes. Occasionally, outings are also organised to events, movies or shows that are tied in with books, including annual attendance at the Sydney Writer’s festival in May. If you would like to join Book Club, or simply want to know more, please contact Monica or Sabiha.

Our Christmas lunch is planned for Thurs 30 Nov, where we will be discussing Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl.
