Year 10

Visual Arts Exhibition

An opportunity for self-expression and creativity, Yr 10 have excelled in Visual Arts. This week highlights students work with the Art Exhibition, and their extraordinary talents.

Congratulations to all students who have worked tirelessly on their pieces of work.

Furthermore, we congratulate Iona Gait for being awarded Artist of the Week.

PDHPE – SEPEP

This term in PDHPE, students are engaging with the SEPEP, Sports Education in Physical Education Program. This initiative revolves around an approach that prioritises students within the realm of physical education. In this method, teachers take a step back, enabling students to take responsibility and assume the roles and duties of instructing a modified game to their peers. This chance has granted Yr 10 students the opportunity to acquire essential proficiencies such as teamwork, accountability, leadership, organisation, cooperation, critical thinking, and effective communication abilities. Important positions assigned to students within their groups include Coach, Umpire/Referee, Statistician/Scorer and Publicity Manager. Leading up to their presentations, students have meticulously devised and rigorously tested their coaching sessions, all set to guide an exciting tournament.

The following photos are from the modified game created by Hugh, Thea, Mia and Alicia:
